Ellis Elementary is being transformed.
The multi-phased renovation project is scheduled to be completed in time for the 2023-24 school year. Once finished, the students and staff will enjoy a new Multipurpose and Library building, a new 2-story classroom wing, and renovated kindergarten classroom administration areas. The collaborative design process–that included Aedis, school and community representatives, and the district administration–resulted in more than 20 iterations of the campus before an outcomes-based decision-making process settled on the solution. The final design is meticulously planned to help deliver educational outcomes, while still meeting budget and schedule requirements.
Phase One of Campbell Union School District’s Forest Hill Elementary School Modernization is complete, just in time for the start of the school year. The families, students, and staff were greeted with a reimagined 5000+ sf Administration Building. The school Office is more functional and larger to comfortably house the health office, counselors, administrators and their staff. Our #PositiveLastingImpact on Forest Hill also includes new underground site utilities campus-wide, which not only brings the school’s support functions up to current standards, but also prepares the site for the planned addition of a new Multi-Use Building and Kindergarten playground of Phase Two.

This Fall, Stratford School Pleasanton Middle School students returned to a transformed campus. The school doubled in size with a brand-new courtyard and TimberQuest classroom building. The students and staff will benefit from TimberQuest’s innate biophilic elements, designed to enhance academic achievement and overall occupant welfare. Impressively, the entire project was completed over the summer, with no disruption to Stratford’s academic school year program. #AedisArchitect’s partnership with Spring Education Group, XL Construction and Daedalus Engineers has once again allowed us to leave a #PositiveLastingImpact on this growing school community! Cheers to a wonderful 2023-2024 school year!
At the end of 2023, the Campbell Union School District occupied its new Multi-Use and Administration Building at Lynhaven Elementary School. Over the last decade, the District has been periodically replacing older obsolete multi-use buildings with new and larger Aedis-designed state-of-the-art facilities. Lynhaven is number four. Although each project is uniquely adapted to the campus on which it’s built, all are based on a prototype first constructed at Blackford Elementary School, which in its time, propelled the industry forward as part of a District-wide “Net Zero Energy/Emission” modernization goal. Today, the design still represents forward-thinking all-electric and solar-powered school design and looks fantastic.
Eventually, the old Multi-Use buildings at seven of the District’s campuses will be replaced. Forest Hill Elementary School’s MU will break ground this summer!
