Union Elementary School District
The cornerstone of this modernization project was a new multi-purpose complex that anchors the campus both geographically and visually. The building was clad in concrete masonry, plaster and metal siding.
A new vibrant campus color scheme was used to enliven the overall atmosphere. Existing buildings were fully renovated and in some cases reconfigured for greater functionality. Extensive new hardscape and landscape, including a new student courtyard, completed the campus transformation.
Sustainable design elements include daylighting and a roof designed to receive future photovoltaic solar panels.
