‘Suggestions for survival – always produce quality work; there’s excellence in doing so.’

Most memorable projects
‘There are so many that it’s difficult to name a favorite project per se, but each project has had its own unique experiences that had lessons learned and numerous successes. Creating spaces for kids of the future has far more value to me now than once being just a kid in school.’

The Personal Side
‘I am all of the above: I enjoy travel; the Antarctic, Falklands and South Georgia are next on my list. I grew up fishing and camping during the summertime throughout my childhood, enjoying family, friends, the outdoors and many nights around campfires. I enjoy a nice hike or bike ride, as well as crafts, Legos, wine tasting, sports, being outdoors, and reading. I just wish I made more time to enjoy my hobbies.’

‘I have e-mentored students in the 3rd through 6th grades via In 2 Books, for a few years. This mentoring program includes reading their grade level books and talking with the students about them over the internet. It’s a great way to interact with students and engage in their learning. Making a small impact on the children of our future to impact their learning skills and lessons is rewarding.’

‘My senior thesis in college was about evaluating the impacts of the classroom environment and how students performed within the classroom setting. I was particularly interested in education/school projects, and aedis specializes in just that. Aedis also supports growth within the firm, as well as professional growth. It has been a good fit for me, in that sense.’
