Why Aedis?
For over half of my career, I’ve had the pleasure of designing education projects. It is immensely challenging and rewarding to be able to shape the spaces where individuals learn and grow. I’m inspired to create environments that promote learning, collaboration, and the betterment of future generations. Some of my proudest moments come when I get to see the teachers and students using the space I helped design. It brings me joy when I see the students laughing, having fun and learning.

Outside the office…
My passion for architecture and design extends beyond the office and I’ve been fortunate enough to mentor students at the K-12 level and the collegiate level. I was also the Vice-Chair for the 2018 AIA 2×8 Design Competition which rewarded scholarships to students studying architecture in California.

In addition, I love to travel and explore all the amazing food options a city can offer.  I recently took an amazing trip to Japan where my itinerary alternated between architectural landmarks and restaurants/snack shops. I’ve never been to Europe, Spain or New York, which are on the top of my travel wish list. Outside of work, I love to watch and discuss movies. I host, edit and produce a movie & TV discussion podcast. It’s an opportunity for me to express my voice, use the creative side of my brain and interact with people from around the world.
