Palo Alto Unified School District’s Hoover Elementary School is undergoing a complete campus modernization and replacement process. The project includes new single and two-story classroom buildings, new play structures throughout, a reimagined administrative building and campus entry, and a large multipurpose room. Aedis, with the help of our collaborator XL Construction, designed this project with mass timber, including TimberQuest, allowing Palo Alto Unified to incorporate sustainable, biophilic, and ecofriendly building solutions within the campus.
