If someone had asked a teenage me about my future career, I would have said “sneaker designer.” After taking a drafting course a few years into my undergraduate career though, I found architecture to be a perfect blend of precision and artistry that could have a positive, community-wide impact. The built environment has a profound influence upon us, and now, as an aspiring architect, I hope to work with my audience to develop spaces that will serve as assets for the public at large. Schools play a significant role in the foundation of a community, and well-designed learning spaces can aid students in reaching their fullest potential. As a Designer at Aedis Architects, as well as a San Jose native, I’m excited to work with local school districts on projects that activate spaces and answer the call to action posed by altruistic architecture.
Outside the office…
You will find me cycling through the neighborhood or engrossed in any and all things hip-hop.
