Most Memorable Project?
San Jose Fire Station #25. It was with a previous employer but it was the first project in my career where I was involved in every facet of the project from programming all the way through construction and occupancy. It taught me that architecture is much more than drawings and specifications. The project also gave me a greater appreciation for the men and women of the fire department and the tireless work they do for the community. I’m an Ohioan turned Californian, an architecture and city planning junkie, a sportsaholic, and a University of California Berkeley Alumni Association Lifetime Member. My motto, “Architecture is not something we do to you, it’s something we do with you.” Habitat for Humanity when time permits.
